Musical projects
Wållgren
This solo project named Wållgren, the maiden name of Barbara's Swedish maternal grandmother, is honouring her roots. A great influence that we can feel in her fresh and modern electro, as well as her avant-garde and refined visual aesthetic.
Wållgren is a very personal proposition, in which Barbara offers soundscapes that go beyond the usual ACI format. There is a strong desire in this project to offer french lyrics, but filled with important social messages. All of this wrapped in a universe where sound textures intermingle in to make the listener travel. And yes, in 2018, the ACI format can also exist at the heart of an electronic project, where machines and lyrics make love. Her musical influences include strong female models such as Bjork, Ariane Moffatt, St. Vincent and Anne Clark.
