Musical projects

This solo project named Wållgren, the maiden name of Barbara's Swedish maternal grandmother, is honouring her roots. A great influence that we can feel in her fresh and modern electro, as well as her avant-garde and refined visual aesthetic.

Wållgren is a very personal proposition, in which Barbara offers soundscapes that go beyond the usual ACI format. There is a strong desire in this project to offer french lyrics, but filled with important social messages. All of this wrapped in a universe where sound textures intermingle in to make the listener travel. And yes, in 2018, the ACI format can also exist at the heart of an electronic project, where machines and lyrics make love. Her musical influences include strong female models such as Bjork, Ariane Moffatt, St. Vincent and Anne Clark.

about: is a musical project, about the love for synthetizers, beats, vocals and VJing.
Their sound ? Psychélectro. A blend of acoustic and electro, colored by unexpected sounds.... Wrapped up in a dream-pop-shoegaze feeling.
Their show ? Traveling between an audio and visual experience, through contemporary projections.

Their concept ? 4 short-albums in 18 months, inspired by the 4 Noble Truths of Buddha.

Barbara Finck-Beccafico founded the band in 2012, and have had many talented collaborators since then, such as : Michèle Bernier-Martin (co-composition & creative producing), Enzo Marceau (drums), Laurent Malo (co-composition), Pierre-Alexandre (guitar & creative producing), Luc Papineau (mix & mastering).

Barbara is in the studio right now, working on some new material for the band.
